Ever since we fed the ginormous carp at Raystown Lake, Ellie has been talking about feeding the fish again. We can't compete with those crazy fish, but we tried to come close by taking her and Jack to feed the ducks in the park in Bellefonte. It was a great way to spend a few hours, even though it was still really hot outside.
Before we got to feeding the ducks the kids splashed in the fountain for a few minutes.
Jack loved pointing at the ducks and telling us to "look" (one of his most favorite words these days).
The kids fed the ducks from the bank for a while, but then Ellie wanted to go up on the bridge and throw some bread down to the ducks from there. The ducks didn't seem to have any trouble adjusting to our new location.
When we were out of bread we decided to go over the the playground and play for a few minutes before heading home to the air conditioning. On the way over to the playground the kids saw this duck and couldn't stop themselves from chasing it.
Chasing the duck.
Sliding on the twisty slide - I'm so thankful she's no longer scared of slides like this.
She had to climb up this big ladder and into this opening in a bridge to get to that big slide.
A picture of me. Very unusual (wish I looked a little cuter! Sigh.).
Making sure Jack doesn't fall off the stairs.
Jack-Jack hanging on some plastic handles. He was a little upset because they were a little too far apart for him to be able to hold on well by himself.
More climbing.
Ellie on the Monkey Bars.
Finally time to go home - we were so hot, but we'd had a great time!
I love my family!!
It's been a really long time since I've posted!
