We have had a really fun, albeit, wet and rainy, week. Here are a few pictures of our adventures. First of all, Ellie REALLY embraced dressing up this week. To the point where she wore that princess crown pretty much everywhere we went. She received tons of compliments from people along the way. Everyone thought she was a beautiful princess.

Here Ellie has not only her princess crown, also her fairy wand and her "baby daughter".

As you can see in the example above, now Ellie is wearing the princess crown with her pink ballet leotard. Quite a combination. In Jack-Jack news this week - he showed more interest in "coloring", and for the first time really used crayons for something other than a light snack. It was fun to watch them engage in this activity together.

The Ligetti family came over for a few hours, and Ellie and Carsyn watched Toy Story 3 for a few minutes.
On Sunday we went to Staci, Marty, Brady and Addie Young's house for an Easter egg hunt. There were tons of kids there and it was a blast. Ellie LOVED "picking up eggs" and has asked to go back to Brady and Addie's house to do it again every morning since.

Ellie found a few eggs in the sandbox.

Bringing her loot to mom who was holding her basket for her.

Putting her eggs in her basket.

"I see another egg!" She's off running in another direction.

"Got it!"

The egg hunt over, Ellie walked triumphantly to unload the candy from her eggs.

In the meantime, Jack had the play gym all to himself and enjoyed going down the slide a few times.

After the hunt Ellie took a turn on the swings.

Jack-Jack did too.

Jack pretended to be a big boy on the bike. His feet couldn't reach the ground, much less the pedals, but he does look tough, doesn't he?!

Ellie rode on Addie's big girl bike and LOVED it! We might have to think about getting her a bike of her own soon.
Overall, it was a great week and an awesome weekend. We just keep hoping that these April showers really do bring May flowers and sunshine! We are really looking forward to warmer weather and being outside on a regular basis.
