This week has been a little quiet around here. Well, except for the trip to the emergency room with Jack, but other than that, really pretty quiet. We spent a lot of time playing and cuddling and a little bit of time getting ready for the Easter Bunny.

Dan's mom and dad sent the kids a care package containing the movie "Tangled". Ellie had seen it before with some friends, but Dan and I hadn't had the opportunity to watch it until now. Really a cute movie. We liked it a lot. Here is Ellie - totally engrossed.

Dan gave Jack-Jack a ladle to play with while he was getting dinner ready. Jack had the best time with this thing!

Lifting it UP, UP, UP!

Swinging it around, and banging it on his tray. Good times!

Ellie dyed some eggs for the Easter Bunny. We broke it down into a 2-night activity. We colored on the eggs one night and dyed them the next. I think they came out really nice.

A close-up of the work. Festive, right?

On Thursday night Jack started with a terrible cough. He stayed home with Dan on Friday, and then Friday night we landed in the ER because he was having such a hard time breathing. Turns out he has a pretty decent case of croup. They gave him a steroid shot and an awesome breathing treatment at the hospital, which has made it much better.

Ellie tackled her brother. She still doesn't quite have the understanding that she could really hurt him if she isn't careful. Thank goodness he is so tough!
