Happy Easter, everyone! Whew, did we ever have a fun morning!! Dan and I wanted to make this a super special day since it is really our first holiday "on our own" since Jack has been born. All of my family is in Florida this Easter because Uncle William got initiated into the Catholic faith at the Easter vigil mass. We just couldn't make it - it was too much with having just closed on the house and next week being the last week of the semester. We so wish we could have been with everyone, but since we couldn't, we wanted to have some fun. On Saturday night, I made muffins for us to eat for breakfast and the Easter Bunny (aka - Dan) hid eggs all around the house. We had to have the egg hunt in the house since we don't have a yard yet at the new house. So, on Easter morning, the kids woke up to quite a surprise!!

Ellie immediately found her Easter basket filled with goodies!!

Jack-Jack found his too. He was pretty impressed with his loot.
After an initial exploration of the Easter baskets, the kids were off to "pick-up eggs", and there were a lot of eggs for them to find!

Jack-Jack made his way around a few rooms picking up eggs.

Ellie ran from room to room looking for, and finding, eggs!!

Jack is pretty proud of the eggs he collected!

Ellie found an egg in a funny place!

Jack found one in the play room!

That Easter Bunny sure is funny! He hid an egg on the giraffe's head!
After all the eggs were found...

Jack played with the paper grass in his Easter basket. He couldn't quite figure it out.

And Ellie played dress-up, of course! It was a truly great morning!!
