I can't believe my Ells Bells is 4! How time flies! This year Ellie's birthday celebration was spread out over a period of a couple of weeks. The first part of the celebration was at a Spikes baseball game. We decided (fairly last minute) to invite some of Ellie's school and neighborhood friends to go to a game with us. The evening threatened rain, but the rain never materialized and aside from losing Jack for a few minutes we had a fabulous time.
Jack and Ellie before the game.
With her presents from her friends.
Eating pizza and talking with her friends. This was the first time I had the opportunity to meet a lot of these girls parents and they are all so nice. It was a good night.
Sydnee gave Ellie a mermaid Barbie - quite a hit!
Audrey and Nate gave Ellie a Spikes hat signed by Ike himself (Ellie tells me she is going to marry Ike someday).
So excited!

Yay! Carsyn got in there too!
On Ellie's actual birthday, September 7th, we celebrated with dinner at Faccia Luna and cupcakes at home.
The beautiful birthday girl!
I hope all her dreams come true.
We ended up opening presents the next morning. Ellie's birthday was on a Friday and as any mom of two young kids in daycare and school can tell you, Friday evenings can be a hot wreck when kids are so tired. We wanted her to enjoy the process, so we waited until she was more rested. It seems to have been a good choice.
Ellie and her princess Barbies from Mom, Dad and Jackie.
So fun!
Tia Tess, Uncle William and Baby Dean got Ellie princess coloring materials. Ellie was thrilled!
YAY!
Madeline and Nathaniel Meeker got Ellie this book. She first heard it when they were down here visiting and she loves this story. An immediate bedtime favorite.
Tia Kara, Uncle Jon, Kade and Lils got Ellie beads for making necklaces and bracelets. She was so excited!
And the best for last - soccer goals from Momo and Pops!!
It's been a really long time since I've posted!
