Getting Ready for Christmas

It's been 2 years since Dan and I have set up a Christmas tree! In 2009 we didn't have a tree because we were trying to sell our house in Salt Lake City and our Realtor recommended we keep the house "as neutral as possible". Last year (2010) we didn't have a Christmas tree because we were living in the townhouse and the place was just too small (plus all our Christmas stuff was packed away in storage). Needless to say that meant we were really excited to set up the tree this year and let the kids help. It would be the first time either of them would have a Christmas tree that they might ever remember.

And now it really looks festive with the ornaments, angel and presents!

Also last weekend we put lights out on our new house. We were pretty happy with how that turned out too! Come on, Santa! We're ready!!
