December 6th - St. Nick's Day

Tuesday, December 6th was the patron day for St. Nicholas. On the eve of this day, it has always been my family's tradition to write our letters to Santa and put them in our stockings for St. Nick. During the night St. Nick comes and takes the letters and leaves treats in our stockings if we have been good, and coal if we have been bad. Dan and I have continued this tradition with Ellie and Jack.
Ellie got a Panda stuffed animal and Jack got a lion (which you can see in the background).
Ellie with the lion and panda.
They also got books that go with those animals.
Some new Christmas PJs (which Ellie clearly thinks are AWESOME!).
Christmas cups (Ellie's has Santa and Jack's has a penguin).
Jack's PJs (they have dinosaurs on them - not too Christmasy, but a hit nonetheless).
Some dinosaurs.
A claw toy.
A my little pony Mini Pinkie Pie.

It was a fun morning and the kids clearly enjoyed finding the little presents that St. Nick left. I hope they continue to be good so that Santa will answer their letters!!
