April 2009 (so far)

Hey Everyone! I just wanted to take few minutes to update you on what we have been up to. In the past few weeks Ellie has learned to sit on her own, which is exciting! She feels so proud of herself. She is also beginning to attempt "the army crawl" where she pulls her body behind ger while supported on her elbows. Yesterday we bought Ellie her first sippy cup (really just a bottle with handles for babies who are 6-9 months old). She can hold it on her own, and loves it! She is also starting to do much better eating baby food, and will now tolerate a few spoonfuls of bananas, peaches, sweet potatos, applesauce and carrots (one at a time, of course!). as for Dan and I, we are doing really well, and are enjoying our time with Ells very much! we love and miss you all, and hope to see you all soon!
