State College: The Place for an International Adventure

On January 2nd State College became the meeting place for two Canadians currently living in America, one American currently living in France and two Americans living in, well, America. Or, in other words, a reunion with some of the best people on the planet! Our friend BP was in the states for the holidays, and decided to make the drive to State College to visit with some of his old PSU friends. Dave and Aileen made the trek from Canada (albeit a little more slowly than they were expecting - thanks to some hockey and a rogue snow storm). By Monday afternoon we were all together, though, and it couldn't have been more fun! These pictures are smaller because (uncharacteristically) I didn't take any pictures (well, I might have a few - I'll have to check, but I don't think I do) and had to "steal" these from BP's Picasa site. We really had a great time!

Me "helping" in the kitchen. Now there's proof!
Jack and Aunty Leeny!
So high!! Jack and Uncle Dave playing airplane.
Uncle Dave trying to sneak Jack an beer behind his parents back.
A sorta smile. Ellie was being her wonderful 2-year-old self and took a little while to warm up to BP.
Sassy face for Uncle Dave!
Aunty Leeny and Jack-Jack playing with blocks! He was doing some great motor imitation!
What Dan did when BP told him to show me that he loves me. A kiss on the arm - awesome...
Self portrait of BP, Aileen and me.
Another self portrait.
On Monday night we got a babysitter for the kids and went out to a local bar. Monday nights are not super crazy bar nights - especially over the winter holiday, so we practically had the whole place to ourselves. It was great. We played some cards and had a few beers.
Showing a little more love!
Aileen thinking about her strategy.
Dave got an AWESOME hand!
Awe Dave!
Three VERY HANDSOME men!
Me with one of the best women in the world!
More us!
Love you, Leeny!
